Color Block Coat + Leopard

I’m so happy spring had arrived for .5 seconds in my neck of the woods – it was time enough for me to break out this gorgeous color block coat and leopard print tunic (a match made in heaven). It snowed today, but I’m not shedding a tear. I have a plan for me and for anyone stuck in a winter wonderland (or arctic tundra). You can also wear a long sleeved tee under this coat, and look cute, layered and completely put together with some cozy sleeves peeking out.Read More

Pink Pleats + Orange

Pink and orange is a combo not all of us would reach for, but it looks SO good together, and creates a gorgeous color blocking effect. This skirt with pink pleats is my favorite item for spring, and my silky orange top will look great paired with so many other outfits (+ it’s under $20!). My skirt is lightweight and has a silky feel too, and only $34.99. It is beyond gorgeous – both the color and the silhouette is flattering on just about everyone. Pleats are classic, and I’m so happy to have found them in this beautiful hue.Read More

Shirts for a cause

I recently found Sevenly.org, and to say I am in love with the shirts and their message would be an understatement. They are ridiculously comfy and soft, and the shirts + all their products donate a portion to a variety of causes. Each shirt lists the non-profit partner it donates to, so you can pick by charity or by your fashionable heart.Read More

Washed Tunic + Fuzzy Sweater with fringe

The warm weather is coming…I can feel it, and this washed tunic in the most gorgeous mauve is meant for spring days. So until then, I’m pairing it with ultra cozy sweaters like this fuzzy cardigan with fringe I recently picked up on clearance for $18.99. I was drawn to the black and white knit, the fringe and of course the fuzz. I’m currently snuggled up and wearing it by the fire. The best part is you can order this sweater and have it sent to store to save on shipping costs. See below for the direct link.Read More

I’m Freaking Cold

Sometimes I like to state the obvious, and this is one of those times. I’m freaking cold. It’s February and the excitement of impending snow storms and thrill of snow has worn off. The fun of getting bundled up is annoying (which is an extreme understatement). At least I have a super cute sweatshirt to say what I’m thinking so I don’t have to go around silently screaming “I’m freezing my booty off.” It’s under $8 and ships free.Read More

Heart Shaped Marshmallow Pops

Making marshmallows is just about the coolest science experiment that is both kid friendly and ridiculously tasty. I’ve given the recipe a Valentine’s spin by making heart shaped marshmallow pops in a pretty pink, and taking it one step further by dipping them in chocolate. Feel free to adapt them to any holiday by changing the shape, color and flavor (think shamrocks + mint for St. Patrick’s Day or bunnies + almond for Easter!). If you are thinking to yourself “I don’t really love marshmallows” you need to try homemade marshmallows.Read More

Ruffled White Blouse

There is nothing more classic than a white blouse. Crisp, clean and always a fresh look. This version has the added detail of ruffles. They make the typical shirt more feminine, which I love. I’m not a huge fan of button downs because they feel stuffy and masculine. This shirt gives me everything I love while being tailored and refined.Read More

Pink Pleats and Black Ruffles

I urge you to stop what you’re doing now, and head here to find the cutest skirt for now, for spring and for summer, all in one. And this outfit, pink pleats and black ruffles, is a great momiform. A little dressy, a little sporty, and above all else, comfy.Read More

Lace and Bell Sleeves

This little pink dress is so sweet, gorgeous and perfect for Valentine’s Day – the sweetest holiday of them all. With gorgeous lace and bell sleeves, it fits the day perfectly, but also works for bridal and baby showers, easter, brunch with friends, and so many more events. The best part is it’s $27! You can afford a really cute pair of shoes to go with it (if the weather allows…).

It’s a mini length with two layers and a mock neckline. I love the ruffles on the bell sleeves. This blush tone works well with black, but I plan on wearing my nude sandals in the spring and summer (totally not an option right now – the temps are in the 20s).

My bag goes with me just about everywhere. It has gorgeous classic quilting and a chain strap. I love the all black version, but there is a black version with a gold chain and even a full velvet style. If you want the cutest of bags, try this heart shaped one from Rebecca Minkoff.

As promised off Instagram, this is my playlist right now. Listening all.the.time and I highly recommend all the songs.
