Denim Skirt with Ruffle + Bell Sleeve Embroidered Top

This outfit is the bees knees. I love both pieces, and they are completely budget friendly. This denim skirt with the cutest ruffle is on sale for only $34.90 and my top is $17 (but feels much more expensive with the gorgeous embroidery). If you’re looking for a date night look, brunch outfit or summer concert inspo, this is it. And look at me unapologetically admire my $32.99 sandals…

I had been searching for a denim skirt for awhile. I was going to go with the standard wash, straight cut denim but then I found this skirt. I’m a sucker for anything with a cute ruffle, but can you blame me? My top is super silky and comfortable. The fabric is thicker than what I was anticipating, and I love that. It’s not see-through (thank you very much), and the sleeves are just amazing. It looks great with this mini, but easily works with denim cut offs, skinny jeans, or a fun colored skirt that picks up one of the colors in the flowers. At $17 I don’t mind if it only matched one thing in my closet because HELLO it’s super cute. But, the fact it goes with so much is just another reason to pick it up now.

My earrings and necklace (pictured below) are from Rocksbox. I’ve linked them below, but if you are unfamiliar with rocksbox, it is a monthly jewelry subscription. You receive three pairs of jewelry to try and you can keep any you love for a discounted price, or send back and get three new pieces. Use code ‘DONTDRESSLIKEAMOMXOXO’ for one month free. You can cancel at anytime! You also get a credit each month to use towards jewelry. I love the service and this necklace has been on repeat, and I’m probably going to keep these gorgeous earrings.

My sandals are a favorite pair, and they are from Target. That’s right, I bought them in an attempt to walk straight past the clothing/shoes department, but I am so happy I got suckered. They are so comfortable, have a back zipper, and cost under $33. I used to reach for my Steve Madden Stecy pair, but these are a super comfortable alternative to the basic nude heel. My bag is sold out but I’ve linked similar versions. The appliqué flowers are such a beautiful detail, and you can definitely find a bag with in the same style. You can find links to all the pieces below. It doesn’t get much cuter than a denim skirt and pretty top. In the next week I plan to post about my fight on cellulite. Let me know if this is something you are interested in! I have several products I’ve been using, and I feel like it’s been the least invasive way to combat the ugly bulge.
