Mother’s Day Options

IMG_3742

My first choice for Mother’s Day is to stay in bed as long as possible, have breakfast brought to me, get a mani/pedi at some point, and follow all that jazz by family park time, if the weather cooperates. But, if you are going out for brunch or participating in something fancier, I have the outfit for you.

This floral skirt and lace combo is feminine, flirty and just plain fun to wear. A floaty and ethereal floral skirt makes any woman feel like a woman and can be paired with so many tops, taking it from formal to casual to work ready. The skirt photographed is by Haute Hippie and from Off Saks. It is currently out of stock, but I’ve linked some similar options below. I’ll add this lace top is a great gift option for mom. My mother wants mine, so I am presenting one to her next Sunday (it looks great with distressed jeans!).

Pairing florals with denim is perfect. It is both casual AND dressed up, ready for breakfast out with the family without being too formal (you know, in case you are going to your favorite local diner).

Work ready involves a blouse and some pretty jewels and you are set to go. I’m also going to pair this skirt with a crop top for a night out (not belly baring, but hitting at the waist, but if you like to show a little skin, by all means, get it girl). I’m really excited over all the options a floral skirt offers my wardrobe.
