Embroidered Peplum Top

I always have my eye out for fun tops that add pops of color to outfits. This cute embroidered peplum top does just that. It has such pretty embroidery with a classic black background. You can pair it with just about anything from high rise jeans to shorts to denim skirts, or even dress it up with ponte pants.Read More

Cold Shoulder Ruffle Sweater

I saw this sweater on my friend Sylvia Pilawa (you need to read her blog, here), and knew it was one of those must-haves. It combines several of my favorite things- ruffles, blush, and a cold-shoulder. It’s the most perfect sweater for spring and it’s currently on sale. Go get it here.Read More

Lace and Bell Sleeves

This little pink dress is so sweet, gorgeous and perfect for Valentine’s Day – the sweetest holiday of them all. With gorgeous lace and bell sleeves, it fits the day perfectly, but also works for bridal and baby showers, easter, brunch with friends, and so many more events. The best part is it’s $27! You can afford a really cute pair of shoes to go with it (if the weather allows…).

It’s a mini length with two layers and a mock neckline. I love the ruffles on the bell sleeves. This blush tone works well with black, but I plan on wearing my nude sandals in the spring and summer (totally not an option right now – the temps are in the 20s).

My bag goes with me just about everywhere. It has gorgeous classic quilting and a chain strap. I love the all black version, but there is a black version with a gold chain and even a full velvet style. If you want the cutest of bags, try this heart shaped one from Rebecca Minkoff.

As promised off Instagram, this is my playlist right now. Listening all.the.time and I highly recommend all the songs.

Choker Top + Fuzzy Coat

I feel like a total rocker in this look, which isn’t exactly what I was going for, but I embrace it and love it. It’s super comfortable but still on trend and the pieces will not break the bank. One of my favorite parts is every piece is so wearable – there are a lot of options for different looks with each item. My faux-leather leggings look great with oversized sweaters or tailored down with blouses. This choker top looks just as good with jeans. And this coat? THIS COAT. I didn’t take it off the first weekend I brought it home. It is low-stock, but I’ve linked lots of similar options below.Read More

You are one click away from faux leather and scuba leggings at under $50 each (less if you have Express coupons or text discounts).Read More

Lace Cut Outs + OTK Boots

img_7744

Cut out lace is gorgeous. It’s modern, fresh and edgy – definitely not your grandmother’s lace (however there is a time and place for her lace, too). It looks beautiful dressed up and dressed down, and is a unique pattern for fall. Cut out lace is essentially an embroidery fabric that can be anything from a typical flower pattern to this more geometric version.Read More

Happy Monday friends! I have something to brighten your Monday – an on-trend dress under $15 that is so fun to wear. Clearly it makes me smile. From it’s smooth and breezy fabric, to the cherry red hue, to the off the shoulder goodness, I’m in love with every inch. It makes me feel like the flamenco dancer emoji – you know the one, the woman dancing in a red dress – and it’s a good feeling.Read More

Cruise Collections 2017 Trend: Ruffled Dresses

IMG_8273

Straight from the words of Vogue France, the trend for Cruise 2017 (which are resort lines meant for vacation attire) is ruffled dresses. While the gowns listed by Vogue France are designed by Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, and Rochas, and are typically meant for tropical vacations taken October to mid Spring, I’m inspired to wear my dress all [2016] summer long. This boho inspired version under $28Read More
