I’ve been obsessed with tassel tie tops lately. They have the cutest detail and adjust to fit perfectly, so they really are the perfect summer piece. This one is under $12 and currently sold out in this yellow color, but still available in white (which I am getting as well). I plan to wear it right through fall with a chunky knit.
My floral skirt is an all time favorite. It has a high slit with small, delicate buttons to the waist, but a zippered side so you don’t have to use the buttons. I’ve linked a bunch of other skirt options because there are a lot of cute ones out there, and they are a great wardrobe piece for fall. I like to pair mine with a sweater and belt + booties when it’s starts getting cooler.
Blush is still everywhere, and I found my pink satin lace up slides back in the spring. I’ve linked a similar pair of slides to pair with this skirt, or any maxi with blush tones. You can also wear pink slides with cut off denim, skinny jeans, or go fancy with a black body con dress. They are actually more of a neutral shoe even though they are pink, that work with just about any outfit and give it that “it” factor. You can go casual with this look and wear converse – a sneaker + maxi is a really cool (comfortable) look.
Everything is linked below including my favorite jewelry pieces – the cutest winky bracelet + brushed gold ring and layered choker necklace. Get the top now before it sells out!
Ruffles and gingham all in one? I think my wildest dreams have come true. These pants are stretchy and comfortable, plus have the pretties ruffle at the waist and at the ankles. The cuteness is verging on overload.
I love going a bit simple and wearing a black off the shoulder on top. You can also pair the gingham with chambray and wear a button down (tucked in or knotted), a sleeveless white button down, or just a tank top for a dressed down look. If you want to add some color, I would wear some pink or baby blue shoes. Again, my simple side went with some cute black sandals with a bow detail in the back.
THE EARRINGS. I found this statement pair at Charming Charlie. They are under $15 and perfect when the rest of an outfit is simple, or if you’ve gone the casual route and want to add a little fun to your look. I’ve linked several pairs below, from beaded to tassel – and I love how something small (and budget friendly) can really elevate your outfit.
As we go into fall, I will be wearing this gingham print with a pretty sweater (think pink, white or black) and some flats. All outfit details are below!
Bell sleeves are so fun to wear, and I love this version with a contrasting color. It adds a perfect, unexpected detail. This black and white bell sleeve sweater is beyond cute, comfy and flattering. I’ve styled it two ways for you – the first is an obvious dressy look with a knit pencil skirt, heels, leather jacket, Kendra Scott piece (see below for offer code!) and favorite black quilted bag. It’s perfect for the holidays if you prefer to wear black instead of, you know, red and green all over + the knit pencil skirt is ridiculously cozy (and pleasantly stretchy).Read More
I like to layer fuzzy sweaters. Why? Because it is comfort on comfort, and I simply cannot get enough. I’ve found so many awesome options this season (at great prices!) and I want to pass the info along to you.Read More
This season, blanket scarves are replacing the need for a winter coat in fall. They pair easily with cozy sweaters and make you feel warm and fuzzy without all the heavy layers…because let’s all nod in agreement that winter can wait. If I am able to get out of the house with a knit and scarf, I’m a happy girl. I don’t need to cover myself up with my puffer just yet – but when I do, I can still pop on my blanket scarf. And to make you feel even more warm and fuzzy, use code “kari20” to get 20% off your purchase at ilymix.com(which brings this scarf to less than $20 + free worldwide shipping)!Read More
When the temps drop, I become obsessed with being cozy ALL THE TIME, which means I am constantly on the hunt for pretty knits. They are easy to pop on and go, since mornings in the fall are always rushed. This beautiful light purple sweater is so cute with high waist jeans and simple sneakers, but looks equally cute with this tunic underneath and skinny jeans + booties…lots of options!Read More
I recently had the opportunity to shop with the Madora app, and it was such a fun mail day when my shoes arrived. I immediately tried them on, and promptly wore each pair because they were both gorgeous, great quality, and shockingly comfortable.Read More
When I find a flattering little black dress, I don’t hesitate. I take it home. It’s something I will wear, most likely multiple times, and it will always look classic and chic. This version is sweet, comfy, perfect for every season and inexpensive. Which brings me to my bag, which is not cheap, but made a little more reasonable with the fact my dress is under $20. Read More
This dress combines two of my current favorites – stripes and bell sleeves. It is super soft, stretchy and comfy for everyday, but can be dressed up too. I added a faux suede/fur vest for fall weather and linked some similar options (this version is from last season).Read More
