White Ballet Knit

The white ballet knit is a complete essential for spring, summer and fall, and if you travel somewhere warm in the cold months, the winter, too. It’s from Wooden Ships, a knitwear company with the most comfortable sweaters that are ethically made and absolutely gorgeous. I found this line in a small shop while on vacation a few years ago, and I am so excited they’ve launched an online retail site.

This dainty knit ties in the front and is the perfect piece to take the chill off summer evenings. I love it with this romper, but you can also pair it with jeans and a tank, summer dresses, and over your bathing suit at the beach or pool.

I love all the Wooden Ships “beachy” sweaters, tunics and slouchy styles. Whether you love oversized knits or cropped versions, there is a sweater you will fall in love with. My cotton romper is so comfy with a zippered front, corset top, adjustable straps, and pockets. I love the ikat print and sweetheart neckline.

Find your summer knit at www.Wooden-Ships.com and shop the rest of the look below, including my sandals that get all day wear. They are cushioned and make my feet smile, + they are under $30.

Spring Sweater

I’ve been wearing this spring sweater pretty much non-stop the past week. If you must know, I do own two (ivory and black) and I have washed it. It washed beautifully on delicate and an air dry. I’m sure it’s not technically a spring sweater, given it’s on sale on top of it’s sale price for under $53 (through Sunday), but it is going to be my spring sweater since we are in the 20s and about to get more snow. Neutrals in Winter

There is no reason white jeans should be left in the closet all winter long. They look great on a snowy day just as much as on a warm sunny one. This gorgeous and comfy turtleneck sweater is an essential. I’ve been wearing it non-stop the past week since it’s been below 20 degrees outside and it’s from a great online boutique – Gray Monroe.Read More

Black and White Bell Sleeve Sweater

bell sleeve sweater

Bell sleeves are so fun to wear, and I love this version with a contrasting color. It adds a perfect, unexpected detail. This black and white bell sleeve sweater is beyond cute, comfy and flattering. I’ve styled it two ways for you – the first is an obvious dressy look with a knit pencil skirt, heels, leather jacket, Kendra Scott piece (see below for offer code!) and favorite black quilted bag. It’s perfect for the holidays if you prefer to wear black instead of, you know, red and green all over + the knit pencil skirt is ridiculously cozy (and pleasantly stretchy).Read More
