Yellow Floral Tie Front Blouse

Some tops are just happy, and this yellow floral tie front blouse is one of them. It has the prettiest yellow hue with happy, colorful blooms in easy to pair colors. The navy, pinks, and sage green go so well with your favorite denim but work also with white, blush, and a lot of colored denim right now. Since we’ve got some heat right now, I’m wearing my favorite cut offs, but I’ve also worn this top with flare jeans, white skinnies and a navy gingham skirt for pattern mixing. It’s under $14, and a great blouse for the summer.

I love the bell sleeves with a slight ruffle and the strappy neckline. The tie front lets you show off your high rise jeans and shorts, which, let’s face it, is just about all I’ve been wearing lately! My shorts are a DIY. I love this pair of jeans from H&M, so I bought a second pair and made cut offs. I don’t love shorty shorts, and DIY is the best option for making a custom fit. I cut it to just below where I wanted my shorts to end (or cut a little longer if you want to fold), used sandpaper to distress, and wash and dried them. I’ve linked my favorite cut offs below if you aren’t into trying a DIY. I know I was completely nervous to make cut offs, but the jeans I used are only $39.99.

I’m wearing two of my rocksbox favorites – this gorgeous bracelet with a pretty blue stone and a gold layered choker. Rocksbox is a monthly subscription service where you get there pieces of jewelry to try. If you love any or all of the pieces, you can keep them for a discounted price. You can send all three pieces back and get three more to try. It’s the perfect way to experiment with new trends and you can get one month FREE with code ‘DONTDRESSLIKEAMOMXOXO’. I love that you get a monthly credit of $21 – you basically get your subscription cost back by picking out a piece from one of your sets each month (and believe me, that is super easy to do). It’s also free to cancel and you can cancel at anytime. My gladiator sandals are less than $20. They go with shorts, jeans, and flowy sundresses and maxis. The gold works as a great neutral without being boring. I’ve linked my blush reversible bag (ideal for vacations because it’s basically two bags in one!) and my inexpensive sunglasses. Happy Sunday babes!
