Sometimes I like to state the obvious, and this is one of those times. I’m freaking cold. It’s February and the excitement of impending snow storms and thrill of snow has worn off. The fun of getting bundled up is annoying (which is an extreme understatement). At least I have a super cute sweatshirt to say what I’m thinking so I don’t have to go around silently screaming “I’m freezing my booty off.” It’s under $8 and ships free.

This sweatshirt is lightweight, easily layered, and goes with everything from jeans to sweatpants to my favorite high-waist leggings. I’ve kept the black and white going with my favorite adidas kicks, and added a faux fur scarf in blush that is currently on clearance. My mittens have a SUPER SOFT interior and keep my hands extra warm because they are thick – cold air doesn’t get through.

My little sidekick is also cold, but refusing to put on his mittens, and is all smiles anyway. My favorite puffer coat keeps me warm – the hood is amazing, huge and really really works in the wind and snow. Plus it acts as a neck warmer/scarf when I’ve forgotten mine at home. It has a half zipper (ideal if you hate long coats making it hard to bend, sit in your car, walk, etc.), high knit neck, and snaps down the front.
