Gray Slouchy Sweater

In some exciting news, I was on a radio show recently! Head here to hear the show – it was on Empower Radio with Lisa Jesswein and we had a fun chat about dressing to make yourself feel better and get motivated for the day. Say hello to the knit you’ve been looking for. This gray slouchy sweater is comfy, oversized, off the shoulder, and basically perfection. Gray goes with just about everything, and the ribbed detail on the bottom of the dolman sleeves keep it in place, while keeping it slightly off the shoulder. You can dress it up or pair with jeans and a pretty bralette. It’s such a great basic, and only $27.

This sweater is so super soft, cotton, and washes extremely well. It gathers at the bottom, so you can keep it up by your waist or hips, or pull it down for a longer look with leggings.  You’ve probably seen this bralette since it’s become a blogger favorite, with good reason. It’s comfortable (as in wear to bed comfortable), stretchy, has no underwire, and looks so, so good peeking out of an oversized top. It comes in 8 colors and is $38.

I can’t say I’m upset it’s fall. I love my boots, and I own this pair in every color they come – camel, taupe and black. They are so comfy and feel luxurious – plus I always, always, always receive compliments on them and the question “WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE BOOTS?” Well, you can get them here, they are under $150 and run a 1/2 size small, so order a little larger than you normally would. They go with dresses, maxi skirts with high slits, leggings and skinny jeans. The jeans I have on are my go-to’s. They literally feel like leggings, have a high waist, and a gorgeous dark wash.

I wore this gray knit for date night, and paired it with faux leather leggings, the same boots in black, and my favorite black bag. I consider all these items to be wardrobe musts, and I’ve also linked them below. They can be worked into so many different outfits, both dressy and casual, making them key pieces. Pair the leggings with a simple white tee and some mid-top sneakers for an updated athleisure look. Cheers to boot season!
