I’ve tried a lot of jean shorts. A LOT. They are usually too short, or too frayed, or not the right wash. This pair is exactly what I was looking for (and are on sale!) – cuffed with a little fray, sit on the hips and are a good length. I’ve worn them just about every day this past week and cried when they were in the wash.

They are a gorgeous blue and go with it all – tanks, tops, colorful shirts and plaids. This watercolor strapless top is a favorite from a few years ago, but I linked another top in a print I love, as well as a similar kimono. This kimono goes every where with me – to the pool, grocery store, beach and back. I’ve paired it with rompers, shorts, jeans, and dresses. It’s the perfect summer layering piece.

The gladiators I’m wearing are a summer staple. They are super comfortable and incredibly flattering because anything in a nude tone elongates your legs, plus they go with basically any outfit. From maxi dresses, to white jeans, to shorts, they complete a look and are on trend. At under $25 I may have to get them in black as well.

I’m ready for fireworks and beach parties in this get-up. Hand me a sparkler!
