‘Tis the season to party, and we love using HoneyBaked ham to make our get togethers fun and easy! We hosted a friendsgiving fiesta with kids, and everyone (dogs included) loved the food and decorations. There were bright colors, delicious food, and lots of smiles all around.

 

Our tabletop set up was a fiesta theme, with a fun blanket as the tablecloth, lots of pretty flowers, and of course beautiful food from HoneyBaked. The ham itself makes a great centerpiece, and colorful sides make even the pickiest eaters want to join in. I picked up macaroni and cheese, Tuscan-style broccoli, dinner rolls (who doesn’t love bread?!), and cinnamon apples (amazing, do not pass these up!). The hand-crafted sweet and crunchy glaze on both the ham and turkey breast is something kids and adults love!

  

It was so easy to heat and serve the yummy sides, and my kitchen stayed clean. I was able to enjoy our company and be a part of the party instead of being stuck preparing. And let me just say, HoneyBaked macaroni and cheese is better than my mac n cheese. I could’ve eaten the whole bowl myself (and then licked it clean).

   

The ham is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Since kids love anything sweet, most of them will love it. It’s hand-selected and slow-smoked for up to 24 hours, making it super moist and tender! I love that a HoneyBaked ham is always enough for a party, and provides leftovers the next day. My mom makes the best soups with the bone, so I give her what’s left.

   

For dessert, my kids picked out the carrot cake and I grabbed a pecan pie to have a bit of tradition on the table. I cannot recommend both enough. I say have your cake and your pie, too! The holidays go by so fast, and it’s so important to take time to hang out with the people we love. My kids loved our party, and I think our dog really loved it, too.
