I have some exciting news! I have a post on Neighborhood Seen about transitioning denim to spring – because I love updating basics and refreshing my wardrobe for new seasons. So please go check it out here. I love Neighborhood Seen for all things Detroit, and I was really happy to have the opportunity to write an article for them. Now onto these overalls – they are a standby in my closet. Why? Because they are flattering, comfy, and I love my denim. This spring, I am adding a little lace to the mix. This turtleneck is so cute and the sweetest baby pink, and paired with a light pink or nude bra underneath, it’s the perfect transitional piece.
If you aren’t an overalls person (WHAT?) it’s ok – you can still get lots of use from this sheer turtleneck. It looks great with high waist denim, denim skirts, and you can go dressy and wear it with a pencil skirt. Think white skirts for summer. I have a high waist pair of chambray pants I plan to wear it with, as well as some linen trousers. The turtleneck is a little edgy, so I like to wear it with plainer bottoms.
I love the chain detail on my bag. It’s budget friendly, and such a nice gray. I’m a huge fan of faux suede and leather as far as bags are concerned. I had a come to Jesus moment when I was reading the materials of a very high end bag I was thinking of purchasing, but I just couldn’t go through with it when I saw ‘calf,’ and now I am finding myself disliking leathers and suedes in everything. This bag comes in 5 colors and is under $70 and currently 25% off, and it is not made of baby cow.
This is my spring momiform and I can’t wait for warmer temps. I’m so ready of buds on the trees and flowers in the garden. Everything is linked below. If you don’t have a pair of converse, this is the perfect time. They are the perfect park – stroll – errand running shoe.
