In the summer I find myself gravitating toward yellow- I wear it (this top), I drink it (lemonade) and I bask in the sun’s rays. This perfect summer blouse is a happy mellow yellow, and makes me think of tie dye without all the swirls and cliche- and it is on sale for under $8. I love that it is 100% cotton, making it so breathable and cool on a hot day, which we’ve been having a lot of (no complaining here). The D.H. Day Farm in Northern Michigan is one of the most picturesque I have ever seen. You drive beside it along a gorgeous tree lined road and pull over in fields of raw beauty to simply sit and admire. The barns are completely magical, almost castle-like. Many artists have captured it’s rural charm, but there is nothing like seeing it in person, feeling the summer breeze and smelling the sweet country air. But back to this darling sunny top…
