I love the classic halter neckline with scarf tie. It is 100% silk and has the most gorgeous pattern of easy to pair neutrals. I can go with black or tan shoes, and a matching bag. I would have loved to find this dress new, but I have to say, I’m happy I found it on Thred Up for a fraction of the price ($278 down to $58.99 before further discounts), and in like new condition. I had that “woo hoo!” moment when ordering, and when the happy mail day came, it was like “Yessssss! This is perfect!” Exhilaration times two!

I love that Thred Up lists an item and describes if they are in like new condition or if there are any worn areas. It means you can choose only like new items (you can mistake for brand new), or know exactly what you are getting before receiving your package in the mail. In addition to searching by brand or designer, you can also shop by store, so think Anthropologie, Nordstrom and J. Crew bargains. Returns are easy too. You have 14 days to decide if you want to keep what you have ordered. If you want to send it back, it’s free return shipping for store credit.
